Limitations

Shared instances

Customers hosted on a shared instance are only allowed to refresh the historical data up to 8 times per day, independent of the Power BI licensing possibilities. Max. 120 Intraday report refreshes per hour are allowed from the users. This could be for example, 10 users using an intraday report at the same time with a page refresh of 5 minutes or 30 users with 15 min. page refresh.

For exporting the data, only the data export service add-on is available for shared instances.

Real Time reporting and solutions with direct data access (except the intraday reports) are only supported for dedicated instances.

Dedicated instances

The features and the performance of a dedicated instance is basically unlimited and will provide the required capacity. Increasing the capacity is not an automated process and requires a change request from the customer. Before any approval, an optimization analysis will be executed by the infrastructure team, and all their recommended measures must be implemented as a first step.

Power BI Features

The feature set of the Power BI Service depends on the customer licensing at Microsoft. This includes the total storage size, the maximum size of a data set, incremental refreshes, the system performance, and the page refresh rates in the reports to list some of the most important examples.

Incremental refresh

CCBI datasets are not available with parameter configuration and policy for incremental refreshes. Only full refreshes for large storage mode are currently supported.

Intraday and Real Time Reporting

Intraday reporting with a direct connection to the datamart and a refresh delay of 15 minutes is only available for the Webex Contact Center. Calling data is refreshed according to the dataset refresh schedule.

For performance reasons, the intraday dataset contains a reduced set of measures for inbound only and the real time dataset only what is used in report templates.

Queue assignments

The agent queue assignment report and the real time agent states by queue do not support the new dynamic skill configuration, where skills are directly configured at agent level. Queue assignments for skill-based routing only supports the configured skill profiles and where the skill requirements are configured and not assigned within the flow.

Alternate numbers for Auto Attendant and Hunt Group

The AUTO ATTENDANT and HUNT GROUP dimension only supports primary phone numbers and extensions to map the available fact numbers with the configured features. There is no match to dimensions, if alternate numbers are used to call those features.
