Deprecated and Removed Features

Deprecated Features​

This section lists deprecated features in b+s Connects for Salesforce – CCE/CCX Editions.

Deprecated features are supported for existing customers. However, there is no further development for deprecated features. Deprecated features are not supported for new deployments!

These features may be scheduled to be removed in a future release. Plan to transition to the designated replacement feature. If you are implementing a new deployment, use the replacement technology rather than the deprecated feature.

;noScreenPop Parameter to disable Screen Pop for Tasks Voice​

Deprecation announced in release: 5.8

Feature will be removed in release: 6.0

Replacement: Screen pop can be disabled by configuring the Salesforce Softphone Layout accordingly.

Agent Time in State Toolbar Component​

Deprecation announced in release: 5.5

Feature will be removed in release: 6.0

Replacement: Information already integrated in current Agent State bar.

Removed Features​

Sales Engagement Call Variable 1 use​

Call Variable 1 was used to match Finesse dialogs to the Sales Engagement items inside Salesforce. Logic was improved and it is not needed anymore to keep Call Variable 1 unused in scripts: Call Variable 1 can be used again in scripts without affecting Sales Engagement integration.
