Oracle Service Cloud Software

As of the fourth quarter of 2017, Oracle changed its versioning concept for Oracle CX and conse-quently of the Oracle Service Cloud. Oracle changed from a monthly release cycle (e.g Oracle Ser-vice Cloud May 2017) to a quarterly release cycle (e.g. 18A). The minimum version of Oracle Service Cloud is May 2015 with Enhanced Console.

Open Methods

• Only OpenMethods version 6.7.0 is supported.

OpenMethod’s R2 2017, R1 2017, Q4 2016, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and older versions are NOT supported with b+s Connects for Oracle Service Cloud 4.2.0.

3rd Party Software

• Oracle Java

  • The b+s Connects for Oracle Service Cloud application server requires the latest version of Java for 64-bit Windows operating systems to be installed. It is accessible at:
    • https://www.java.com/en/download/

• Host System Virtualization

  • Only VMware ESXi bare-metal virtualization (type 1 hypervisor) software can be used to host the underlying operating system of the b+s Connects for Oracle Service Cloud Application Server

• Runtime environments

  • Harmony RoutingAdapter and Harmony AgentAdapter require at least Microsoft Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2
  • Harmony Integration Server requires Java Runtime
  • Harmony QueueAdapter (incl. MediaRoutingPlugin) requires at least Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2

• IPv6

  • The b+s Connects for Oracle Service Cloud components do not support IPv6
