Requirements

Webex licensing

The customer must own the Webex services from Cisco that should be part of the CCBI service subscription. If Webex Contact Center or Webex Calling is not part of the licensing, we are not able to integrate this data.

Power BI licensing

The Power BI licensing per reporting user must be purchased by the customer directly at Microsoft. CCBI for Webex supports "Power BI Pro" and "Power BI Premium" licenses for shared and dedicated Power BI instances.

Power BI workspace administration

Administrative privileges for the Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) on customer side are required to administer access to the PBI workspaces. Access is usually granted to AD groups to reduce complexity and to prevent permission mistakes.

An administrator has to be involved for the deployment process into the customer's Power BI workspace. He is responsible for granting the correct access level to the workspaces and to assign the correct security role for the users. The security role is used for dynamic row level security and grants access to specific user data or entry points of the contact center.
